Meet Jill

Jill Presley is an award-winning trial attorney who has spent her career fighting for justice. As a Partner and Co-Founder of Presley and Presley Trial Lawyers, she focuses her law practice on catastrophic personal injury cases, including semi-truck and auto crashes, sexual abuse, airplane and helicopter crashes, wrongful death, and insurance bad faith. Jill brings integrity, creativity, and the unwavering pursuit of justice to her clients and the courtroom. With over 25 years of experience and over 60 jury trials, Jill began her career as an Assistant District Attorney in Jackson County, specializing in sexual crimes and other violent offenses. This experience was instrumental in shaping her trial practice and giving her the opportunity to represent her clients with unmatched expertise and compassion. As a plaintiff's personal injury lawyer, she continues to be a powerful advocate and has represented her clients in jury trials with numerous record-setting verdicts. Jill is a recipient of the Women’s Justice Award and has been recognized for many years by the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 and Super Lawyers. Jill has also been honored by the prestigious and peer-reviewed Best Lawyers in America award every year since 2018, including Lawyer of the Year in 2023 for Aviation Law. In 2024, she was chosen by Missouri Lawyers Weekly as a member of the elite Power 30 List. 

A Passion for Service to Peers and Community

In addition to giving a voice to her clients, Jill is also committed to helping others in the legal profession. As a board member of the Association of Women Lawyers, Jill is the Chair of the 2024 Women’s Litigation Symposium, which offers a collaborative and educational opportunity for female attorneys to learn courtroom and litigation skills. She is also a mentor for the Denise Hennings Connections Mentorship program and is passionate about helping to educate and support the next generation of women lawyers. Jill is equally committed to serving her community, and she and her husband support many important charitable causes, including Operation Breakthrough, Giving Joy for Foster Kids, Just Like You Films, Harvester’s, Feeding America, the Southwest Boulevard Health Clinic, and many other philanthropic organizations. An avid golfer, pickleball player, and traveler, Jill considers her family to be her greatest accomplishment. She is the mother of two boys and lives in Kansas City with Kirk Presley, her partner in law and in life.
